What do I see, in my rear-view mirror?
A woman on a horse. I was heading home after visiting with a friend, when I spotted this horse woman. 15-20 years ago, Murrieta was very rural, and this was a common sight; not so much in 2012. Keeping with the horse theme, my hotel, in NYC, was next door to the Midtown West Police Precinct, and I spotted this mounted officer trotting past the hotel.
What are the rules for SOOC Sunday?
•On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own)
•that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK).
•In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.
•Link to Murrieta365 in your post so others will know where to go if they want to join in the SOOC fun.
Go take more photos,

Interesting captures.
ReplyDeleteAround here we see lots of horses in the fields but seldom one with a rider. And, never on the roadways.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that all the mounted police I have seen have giant horses.
In summer here in Michigan I can spot some people riding there horse I find it really cool. ^_^

99.9% of my photos are straight out of the camera...I'm rather a purist. Except of course for cropping and watermarking. Your photos cause me to wish I were not so frightened of horses ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I always find it strange to see mounted police riding down the paved streets of big cities. :)
