My subjects are these sycamore trees. Not much happening, perhaps next month there'll be some green!
The goal is to capture one thing repeatedly on the first of each month. It can be a landscape, a person, an animal, a project; whatever your focus is, is fine. It can even be a record of where you are each First of the Month. I'll open the linky each month on the 1st, and leave it open for a week, to give everyone a chance to post. Let's see if this flies. (Please link back to this blog, thanks.)
Go take more photos,

I don't know why but for some strange reason it makes me feel better to see that your tree isn't doing anything yet either. :))
ReplyDeleteHi Jan! Still loving your meme and it certainly has me paying attention with camera in hand to the Kentucky skies. Today I got over in your territory and did a photo of sycamores against a brilliant blue sky. I especially love your second photo--closeup of tree limbs against the sky. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI see not much change...LOL at EG Wows comment..misey loves company!!
ReplyDeleteNot much happening around here either. Still lots of snow on the ground.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I'll have to catch up next month, though, since I just missed this month!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how I'll choose my subject!

the silhouette of the tree against the sky is very striking.
ReplyDeleteAnd at least trees will change eventually . . . right now I'm wondering why I chose a landscape with dry arid mountains, they are always gray. Rocks don't change much. But I'll persevere, I've never really given much thought to how the place I live looks to others.
Pretty good. Is eee tiny buds starts to come out.

There isn't much change in my tree, but very soon, very soon I hope.
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea. I'll certainly try to do this the first of each month. Like you, I have dormant trees right now.

For some reason my link disappeared. I've added it back, and I do have my post updated with the link back here. Sorry it took me that long to get it updated, but I have it now, and I do make every effort to visit everyone who has linked.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Maybe I'll come up with something and participate.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan,
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks so stately standing there waiting for spring. Have a great day!

Jan, I just came across your new meme and of course I like it. I have just the tree I want to watch and post at the first of every month. Of course it's been pouring rain all day so I'll try again tomorrow... :)
ReplyDeleteJan I have my photos for your meme up now on Mary Tomaselli's Photography
ReplyDeleteDang I took my photo but forgot to upload and do my post - oops. K, I'll be back soon to linky.
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting First of the Month and am looking forward to each month as changes take place over the seasons. I'm a "tree" person. Our fruit orchard gives me many reasons to love them.
ReplyDeleteYour sycamore trees are so tall. I like the shot looking up through the branches toward the sky.
Darn I was too late to link up but I did finally make my post. :)

ReplyDeleteI've been out of town -- something I posted about earlier this month. Being there.
