Go take more photos,

From the small thumnail it looked like a real eagle had built a nest. Then wehn I actually got to the blog...that is pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteI also thought it was a live eagle. The kids must love it. CHarmaine
ReplyDeleteAn intriguing totem pole! It seems to be presenting sacred icons of the area! Especially interesting is that it is placed near a children's playground! Maybe to remind them of old ways, even subconsciously? Great photos!
ReplyDeleteHow neat...a very nice addition to the chidrens play area. Great shot, love the eagle on top.
ReplyDeleteIt does look unusual and you did a great job with your photo Ms. Jan

What a different pole. I love the diversity of items on it, it reminds me of ones I saw at camp - may moons ago.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was a real eagle... beautiful shot!

That's an unusual totem pole! Mix of cultures...
ReplyDeleteI can't see any link-list so I put my link here Beyond the Lone Islands
From afar, it looked real! Then I saw the rest of the pole. The playground looks like one near us.
ReplyDeletethat is a cool totem pole. But, after all the snow we have been having I loved seeing the green grass and the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting shot dear...
ReplyDeleteLove the pole, especially the eagle - but those people in the corner are intriguing me. I'm wondering if they're whispering about the lady with the camera. Notice how they have their backs, or side, to you, and they don't appear to be moving. It's like they turned around and started whispering and hoped you would vanish when they turned back around.
ReplyDeletelinky went awol, lol
ReplyDeleteit's a very interesting totem: there's a friar at the bottom, and unless he is St Francis, I wonder why he is included in the totem. The eagle at the top is really cool!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm joining in to the fun today. I'm not quite sure how to do this link thing but here is the web addy for my photos. I love your totem pole pics. We have a lot of totem poles where I live and they are all beautiful :-)
