From the small thumnail it looked like a real eagle had built a nest. Then wehn I actually got to the blog...that is pretty cool!

An intriguing totem pole! It seems to be presenting sacred icons of the area! Especially interesting is that it is placed near a children's playground! Maybe to remind them of old ways, even subconsciously? Great photos!

What a different pole. I love the diversity of items on it, it reminds me of ones I saw at camp - may moons ago.

From afar, it looked real! Then I saw the rest of the pole. The playground looks like one near us.

that is a cool totem pole. But, after all the snow we have been having I loved seeing the green grass and the blue sky.

Love the pole, especially the eagle - but those people in the corner are intriguing me. I'm wondering if they're whispering about the lady with the camera. Notice how they have their backs, or side, to you, and they don't appear to be moving. It's like they turned around and started whispering and hoped you would vanish when they turned back around.

it's a very interesting totem: there's a friar at the bottom, and unless he is St Francis, I wonder why he is included in the totem. The eagle at the top is really cool!

So glad to find this SOOC Sunday. I always use my pictures SOOC, and I usually feel like I'm the only one. Thanks for hosting this.
