Rant
This is the 89th SOOC Sunday, and I have a couple of things to say. Lately, I've been discouraged and almost discontinued doing this meme. The reason, you may ask, is discourtesy from participants. I'm not going to give details, just ask that you are courteous in your comments, and please leave a comment. If you are unhappy, please go somewhere else. Also, a few participants have been joining up with SOOC Sunday, and not linking back, or posting an altered photo. It may be a lovely photo, but, if it's edited, don't join up, here. Thank's my rant. For now, SOOC Sunday will continue.

What are the rules?- On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own)
- that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK).
- In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.

Oh no - who is leaving ugly comments? I guess I've been fortunate in that I haven't received any nastiness yet, but I agree - if you don't like something...don't participate. I make a conscious effort not to alter my photos other than adding my watermark and resizing for my blog (cuz I don't want just anyone taking my photos).
A very valid rant. I must admit, I am a little of who you are ranting about because I rarely leave comments for the meme host. I'm sorry and will rectify that for all. I understand how important comments are as well as following the rules. This is a good meme, composing in the camera and getting things correct without post processing. It can be a challenge because it is so easy to make changes now days. One last note: I understand this is your baby. But if you want a co-person, I have been thinking about hosting a meme of my own but assisting may be better. I would be honored to help. Thanks for your work!! Perry

Doesn't Vitamin C come from the rose hip, Jan? see how important the rose hip can be? Keep up the good work... I've fallen down on the job for a couple of weeks but no more...Please don't angry with me... :)
I haven't posted here for a while, but I can understand your frustration! I don't edit my photos anyway (don't have Photoshop), but once, on another meme, I did use sepia on a couple of pics. I'll find something to post this week! Sorry you are having problems. I hope it all gets resolved.

I too must add that I am sorry that some people don't leave comments or tend to leave ugly ones! You have volunteered time to do this! There is no need for lack of consideration or ugliness! Don't blame you for having a rant!
I have just started a couple of memes and feel almost hurt if someone just links up and says nothing! I feel used! But seeing the memes are new, I can't complain yet! I'm letting it be! For now!

I hear you Jan. I do edit my photos but not for this meme. The photos I use here are original with only my logo added. Nasty comments have no place in any meme. My Mom always said if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. Did you forget Mr. Linky?

I can hardly believe people left unkind comments. Constructive criticism is one thing, but there is no need for anything less than positive. Please keep up the good work. I wish we could smell that declining rose.

Yeah, I noticed that though, There are time i can't make a post for SOOC, but in those times I participated the SOOC I always linked back the host and visit the rest of the participant, sometimes I able to visit all of them but sometimes only few because of time. All the photos I posted are all straight from the camera because i don't know how to tweaked hehe. Anyway, Im back playing today Ms. Jan.
Anyhow, I always admired all your pictures here,. they look so real and the close capture looks so amazing that you can almost see the inside of this flowers. I love all your pictures, they are all great shot.
