Another bird that I don't know the name of. This is one of a pair that stay together and are very fast. On my walks, I've only seen them in a flood control area. I take a 3 mile walk, three times a week, while my husband is doing Physical Therapy. This week I found a yard with several California Poppies blooming. Such an unseasonal find; they usually bloom in the Spring. It made me happy.

These shots of my hydrogenous, show the damage from over-night freezing temps, lately.
Personally, I think they're still lovely.

I thought I'd sneak in a couple of SOOC photos of one of my Sally Holmes roses. The stems are so long and the clusters are so heavy, they frequently tumble to the ground. Above is one stem with the cluster of roses laying on the ground this AM. Below is another single stem, this morning.
