Super Moon




The August Super Moon is also called the Sturgeon Moon.  Apparently the moon will be even closer to the Earth tomorrow at about 11 AM, but we probably won't be able to see it.

I went to a nearby mesa and took these.  Because I live in a valley, I didn't see the moon until about 20 minutes after moonrise.
