Calla Lily




Thanks to a friend I have a pot of Calla Lilies on my patio.  When we lived in Long Beach, with it's mild climate, I was able to grow Calla Lilies in the ground.  After our move here, 15 years ago, I lamented to a new friend how much I missed having one of my favorite flowers in the yard.  She showed up with a gift of a pot of Calla Lilies the next day.  The original plant had been her mothers' plant.  My friend is 86, so my plant has "long roots"!
