Stripes at the zoo

The top two zebras are called Grevy's Zebras and the bottom one is called Grant's Zebra.  The Grevy's are from Ethiopia, Somalia and northern Kenya; they are very endangered.  The Grant's are found from the southern Sudan to Zambia and are not threatened.  These were taken this week at the San Diego Zoo.

Hope you have a wonderful New Year.
Go take more photos,

  1. Such great-looking animals! I hate to think that any zebras are endangered.

Happy New Year, Jan, and all the best in 2014!

  3. Happy New Year Jan! You look amazingly young for someone who has been married for 98 years. :-)
