First of the Month

This is the final First of the Month for this year, post #12!  I think we'll keep playing.  I you want to change your theme at any time, feel free to do so.  Next month, would be a great time to have new beginnings.

Here is a shot of my small back yard with the Sally Holmes climbing rose, hanging over half of it.

And, here is a shot of a single stem.  These clusters make this rose one of my favorites.

The goal is to capture one thing repeatedly on the first of each month. It can be a landscape, a person, an animal, a project; whatever your focus is, is fine. It can even be a record of where you are each First of the Month. I'll open the linky each month on the 1st, and leave it open for a week or so, to give everyone a chance to post. . (Please link back to this blog, thanks.)

Go take more photos,

When you sign in with mr. linky, be sure you're linking your 1st of the month post; not your blog address.

  1. You still have greenery and roses. This morning we had frost and shivers.

  2. Is there anything more beautiful than a climbing rose? Many years ago I had a climbing Peace that tumbled all over the ugly chain link fence. I can see why you love this rose--that blush color, and those lush clusters of blooms.

I have really enjoy this meme and it has really helped me by seeing others' photos and helping me to focus on one subject. I'll enjoy participating next year. Thanks, Jan!
