I'm a quilter and I take photos of my quilts, to have a record of my efforts and to sell them in my etsy shop. There's just a hint of our crystal blue sky in each of these SOOC photos. Happy Skywatch. To visit other participants go to Skywatch Friday.

Go take more photos,

Have just had a gander at your etsy shop to see your other quilts. If I didn't have a cat who tends to upchuck on my bed more often than I think necessary, I would be tempted.
ReplyDeletethe cross quilt is wonderful. love quilts.
ReplyDeleteMy sky is here
That is beautiful Jan!
ReplyDeleteThe sky looks beautiful and so does your quilts! I just looked at your great shots of NYC!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that you do your quilting by hand (not with a sewing machine). Such intricate work! Thank you for sharing this photo!
ReplyDeleteRED SKY IN MORNING
Red sky in morning,
Sailors take warning!
Who knows what might happen out on the sea?
Waves riding high,
Waves to the sky,
Waves crashing and dashing all over me!
Red sky at night,
Sailors delight!
Leeward or windward we sail with no fear;
Water is calm,
Healing like balm—
Ahoy, fellow sailors, landfall is near!

ReplyDeleteLove this quilt. Have not seen this pattern before. Do you use a sewing machine to do the piecing? And do you quilt by hand? Looks like a lot of work no matter how you did it. But a fabulous result.
