malicious post

I've just removed a malicious post from this blog.  So far, I haven't been able to figure out how a stranger managed to publish a post, here.  Has this happened to anyone else?  It's a pretty strange feeling to have a post,  by someone else turn up in my reader.
Go take more photos,

  1. That is very strange, Jan. I've not heard of it happening to anyone before, but I'm sure that it has. I wonder how it is that someone managed to do that....they must have hacked into your account, somehow.

I'd definitely report it to blogger.

  2. Jan, I sometimes get anomomyous comments on one of my blogs. Now I just immediately delete them...never had a malicious one, however.

  3. This wasn't a comment, it was a blog post.

  4. Jan, I had something happen to me the other day with your blog. I went to post a comment on your blog and it somehow posted a link to your blog on my blog. It was very weird.

  5. P.S...If you use google reader for my photo blog you can see the link there. Very odd.

  6. Can you post post on your blog vea e-mail. I know there is a setting to do this, maybe that is how they did it.

Or cracked your account, I would change all passwords, e-mail and blogger to be on the safe side.

Deffently contact blogger and tell them what happend.

  7. Very peculiar, Jan! No, it has never happened to me but I did hear on CBC News last night that a number of people with G-mail accounts lost their mail. My guess is someone is hacking into Google.

  8. How upsetting! Yes, I definitely would notify Google because, no doubt, they have to tools to backtrack.
