Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday

We had some excitement, the bad type, in our neighborhood, late Friday afternoon.
This was taken looking up my street to the north.  That's a 10 acre brush fire, just over the hill.

The fire was unaccessible to the roads, several helicopters were making water drops.
This one is going to the fire.  He's spilling some water on the way.

Here he his coming back empty.  These were taken from my back patio.

Update, as of this morning, the fire is still burning.  We'll have smog for the next week or so, as a result.

What are the rules for SOOC Sunday?

•On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own)
•that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK).
•In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.
Link to Murrieta365 in your post so others will know where to go if they want to join in the SOOC fun.

BTW, I'm not shy about removing links, if the rules are ignored.

Go take more photos,

  1. Ugh... smog... wildfires... makes me so appreciate living where I do ... other than the snow I "don't" see in your photos!

  10. I'm sorry about the wildfire and smog. The photography is beautiful. Sometimes the dangerous, scary events make great photographs. I love the helicopter against the pink sky. Stay safe.
