Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday

A birdhouse in my backyard. I like the way the honeysuckle is casting a shadow on the side. You can't tell, but the "roof" is a bent Indiana license plate; I bought this birdhouse, because Bob was born in South Bend.

What are the rules?
  1. On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own)
  2. that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK).
  3. In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.
  4. Also, please link back to Murrieta365. Thanks.

Sorry I was late getting Mr. Linky up, today.

  7. Yes, I like the honeysuckle shadow on the side of the birdhouse, too. It counters the hardness of the horseshoe and license plate and softens the look of the birdhouse somehow. Nicely observed and captured. :) I love it.

  9. The honeysuckle is such a lovely colour, Jan, and I love its reflection on the birdhouse. Lucky birds that decide to live there!

  11. Greetings from Juneau, Alaska!
This is my first time participating. I hope everything work out with Mr. Linky.
What a great find. A fun use for old license plates. I'm sure the birds will appreciate it too.:)

  13. Unique birdhouse ~ and I love the idea of the roof and its meaning for Bob ~ cool!

I've posted a photo I took during a Caribbean cruise in August 2008, after we got off the ship at St. Thomas. This beautiful smiling creature didn't run away so I snapped away! I love the details of his skin and the color of the water behind him!

  18. The license plate for the roof is very cool. What I personally think is even cooler is that your Horseshoe is on the right way - so that it is able to catch the good luck rather than repelling it. Beautiful! =)
