Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday

A blue moon -- the second full moon in a month – isn’t that uncommon, occurring on average every 2 1/2 years. But a blue moon on Dec. 31 last happened 19 years ago. These were taken Friday, when we were on our way to dinner. These were taken with my only camera, a point and shoot. I may never get a great photo of the moon, but I keep trying.

What are the rules? On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK). In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.

Also, please link back to Murrieta365. Thanks.

  1. Jan, I think you got really good shots of the "Blue Moon." My SOOC post is going up "as we speak." Ha! When it's up I'll come back and sign Mr. Linky. :)

  3. The clouds in the second shot give the moon atmosphere and setting. I looked at the moon last night. It was lovely on the cold evening.

  4. Hi Jan,
That's all I have is a point and shoot camera. It takes great outside pictures, inside is another story. Your picture of the moon is a whole lot better than mine turned out. Have a great day!

  8. I think these shots are very nice. It is very difficult to get a moon shot with a point-and-shoot. So, you did well.

Re: tattoos - I don't get them at all and really would prefer the "good old days" when it was mostly old sailors that had 'em!
