Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday

Oden showing off his new yo-yo. It has a giraffe, one of my fave animals.

Do you ever take a photo that you love; it comes out so well, (straight from the camera), that you're not tempted to do anything with it. It's wonderful and you want to share it. I decided to start a new meme - Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday. I'll host it here, each Sunday. So put your thinking cap on, scroll through your files and decide what to post. The subject is open, no weekly theme, just have fun.

What are the rules? On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK). In other words Straight Out Of the Camera.

Also, please link back to Murrieta365. Thanks, Jan.

This is not a rule, but could you consider disabling the captcha (word verification), in your comments, if you still use it? Very irritating.

  1. Amazing how yoyos have withstood the test of time! They still bring pleasure! Great idea to get Oden to hold up his yoyo and then we can see its side detail! Love the splay of his fingers! Great shot!

  2. Hi Jan,
Oh how I remember the Duncan yo-yo!
I couldn't do much with it but it was fun to try. Hope Oden has better luck! Nice to see a simple toy with no electronics being enjoyed!
    Nice shot!

  6. Hi Jan,
Yo-Yo's seem to have made a come back. I remember when I played with a Yo-Yo, it was wooden, the ones today are plastic. It's amazing how some of them are made into some really funky shapes and they still seem to do what yo-yo's are suppose to do. Really cool!! Have a great day!
