I think I captured a sun dog. What do you think? Louise is the expert, maybe she knows.
This is the first one I've ever seen, except in a photo, so I'm not sure.

I always thought sundogs contained colors. I sent a photo into our local TV station earlier this spring of the sun with a color streak beside it, and they called it a sundog. I'd be interested to see what others think.

I think it's a sundog. I'm not REALLY an expert, I just see a lot of them here. It's not a vivid one, but it qualifies for sure. How exciting to see one for the first time! I still remember my first one. Don't remember what it looked like, but remember where I was, what I was doing, and how taken I was with the whole thing! (I'll be back to catch up later. Just caught this on my page, and "sundog" made me come see quickly!)
