I don't know what it is either but it sure does have a long neck. It really did pose for you. I'm always glad to catch a bird but I hate when they just sit there. You got a good one. :-)

The Anhinga is one of my favorites, mainly because we don't have them here. What a terrific group of shots. I believe this to be an adult female. B.

ReplyDeleteCould be wrong but is it an Anhinga? I saw some very similar birds on a trip to the Everglades in Florida years ago. Great photos Jan.
