Ruby Tuesday

Near our court house, in Murrieta, is a small airport that is used by turboprops and small jets. Bob and I have gotten in the habit of visiting the French Valley Cafe' at the airport on Saturday for lunch. We have fun watching the small planes come and go. A lot of people fly in for lunch, then leave. Others come on other business or to visit the nearby wineries.
The buildings in the background of this shot are the Riverside County Courthouse, the Jail and Juvenile Detention Center. The courthouse is where I spent much of last month.

Check out all the other Ruby hunters, here.

  1. Hi Jan,
Ahh, such memories - can't wait til it is but a dim memory! We did have some fun though, didn't we? Hope you are doing well.

  2. Jan...would you believe that my daughter is a psychologist who likes working in corrections? Sigh....

  3. It is fun to watch the small planes take off and land, isn't it? Fun post, Jan!

  4. That Cessna looks so nice in that red striping and detail. It looks great in motion...or standing still on the ramp. Great subject!

  5. Great shot and a beautiful day in Murrietta!

  6. The plane look like big bees.
Advanced lifestyle; fly in for lunch!
Your macro bees were likewise impressing.
I don't know which I like the best. All three of them I think.
