Today's Flowers

Each Spring, these bright spotches of yellow and orange along the
freeway, always intrigue me.

Aren't they pretty?
I have no idea what they're name is, so I always call them
FREEWAY FLOWERS.

  6. Lovely! I think what you have there is a coreopsis, but I like "freeway flower" better.

  7. I'm guessing they are something I've always called "African daisies." They grow as annuals here and sometimes reseed. They may be perennials in California.

Love to have them in my garden!
I noticed in Germany lupines bloom along the highway, lovely flowers too.
