I had a hard time coming up with a satisfactory way of turning one of my pelican photos into sepia using Picasa, my only photo editing tool. Then, I thought to use one of the textures I'd saved from Flickr. I think it worked alright. Below is the un-textured shot.

I love this Jan! Your original is a wonderful image but I really prefer the sepia one. :) I like the primitive look of it.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on your continuing theme this week!
This is a great shot - I also prefer the sepia shot. Very well done!
ReplyDeletePelicans are so cool. We only see the brown ones when we travel to the pacific ocean. The white ones are very pretty. And your sepia shot is lovely.
ReplyDeleteA pelican on it's flight home :)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Nice texture choice. I wanted to turn a page and see what would come next.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, how lovely!! It looks like a painting now!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe sepia shot came out great - I never realized you could use textures in picasa.
ReplyDeleteI think the sepia shot looks really old, especially when there are a couple of "hole" in it!!
ReplyDeleteBut I love the colour shot as well! They are equally wonderful, in totally dofferent ways!
I love your sepia shot. It looks very unique.
ReplyDeleteI really like the texture and patina. Good one!
