This is one of the first California Poppies, this year. I'm sure, we'll have more, soon.
Macro Monday is the brain-child of one of my fave photographers, Lisa. Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or close-up) photo, post it on your blog, and let Lisa know you're playing.
Hi Jan, It's absolutely beautiful!!! I have poppies here but mine are red and they don't last very long! The first good rain tears them all apart! Have a great day!!
I'm jealous, my poppies won't be up for a long time ... indeed yesterday I couldn't find anything colourful in my garden to photograph until I looked up!
Glorious!! Blossoms, and even a fly of some sort. I will hate the flies again in another month or so, but when I don't have any here, they are something I can admire! But I do love the poppy!!! How can you not smile at such a cheerful colour!
