Below is my photo, SOOC; I use Picasa 3, and I didn't like the look when I turned it to sepia. So, I used the "warmify" feature, and thought the Ferris Wheel looked sepia and the sky looked great. I don't know if it's kosher, but I like it.
The sepia looks wonderful against the blue sky, Jan. I'm still trying to figure out how you did it, though. ;-) How did you apply sepia without changing the colour of the sky?
Really cool! I like to put up the comparison sometimes too. The sepia generator in Picasa is lousy and I sometimes use Warmify but mostly I use my ancient version of PhotoShop.

ReplyDeleteI think it works great with the subject. I like the contrast against the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting - I didn't it could be done that way w/ the sky blue & the object in sepia! Nice job!

I love it Jan!
ReplyDeleteLeaving the sky blue is perfect.
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI like it too, Jan. Great picture against the beautiful blue sky.
ReplyDeleteB.
I like it - in fact, it's the first use of that "warmify" button that I've seen that I like. On faces I hate it but it really works here.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture very much but the convertion not. I like more the original (just my personal point of view).

ReplyDeleteit's perfect!
ReplyDeletethe angle is wonderful and the blue sets off the sepia
I use warmify a lot in Picasa 3 - it helps with the washed out pink hue of some sepia shots
