Sky Watch Friday



Jupiter, Venus and the crescent moon on December 1, 2008. The next time they will be this close is November 18, 2052.

The photo isn't great; I really need to get a tripod, but it was beautiful to the naked eye.

  1. I don't have a tripod either, but you did a lot better than I did; I deleted a couple, then my batteries conked out.

  4. This is a GREAT shot. I really wish I had stopped with my camera. I saw this on Monday and Tuesday over the lake but you captured it. Good job.

  5. Yes this is a beautiful photo i guess i will never see it as i don't think i will ever live to be that old. LOL but sure am glad you captured it.
